3 Day Agafay Luxury Tour

Morocco is a fascinating Country. At the cross-roads between Africa and Europe, it is a melting pot of culture, religion, architecture, incredible landscapes and medieval history.

We know just how hard it is to leave Morocco. With that in mind, this 3-day extension tour to the Agafay Desert is designed to follow-on from either of the RAW Africa Eco-Tours 10 or 15-day Morocco safaris. You get to see a little bit more of this incredible Country and have the unique opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the Marrakesh Medina. Please do join us on this little adventure to the Agafay Desert to further experience the tranquillity of the rocky desert and dunes.

Day 1: Marrakesh to Agafay Desert

You will be met at your Marrakesh hotel and transferred the short distance to the Agafay Desert. The journey will be approximately 40 minutes.
Upon arrival you will be able to check-in to your luxury permanent tent. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a sunset camel ride, before settling-in back at the luxury camp and been served a sumptuous Moroccan dinner. Moroccan cuisine is famous for its use of spices and fragrant herbs.

Throughout your meal, you will be entertained by traditional Moroccan music and dance.

Afterwards you can retreat to your private tent to relax and enjoy the silence of the desert under the stars.

Day 2: Agafay Desert

After breakfast you will have another chance to take a camel trip. The ride will take you through the stunning dunes and rocky landscapes of the Agafay desert, providing you with incredible views of the surrounding landscape.
Today you will also have the opportunity to go quad-biking on the dunes or to simply relax and take in the scenery.

Tonight, you can again enjoy sunset views of the desert, as well as genuine Berber hospitality, while you feast upon a traditional Moroccan meal.
After dinner you are free to relax around the fire and gaze at the stars, while you soak up the serenity of the desert.

Day 3: Agafay Desert- Marrakesh (Farewell Morocco)

Today completes our journey to the Agafay Desert, as we say farewell to Morocco. We will transport you to Marrakech Airport in time for your departure and safe onward travel.

If you need to get a transfer to Casablanca Airport instead, please allow an additional 3 hours for the journey.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

During your stay in the Agafay Desert, you may wish to simply relax, soak up the chilled atmosphere and take in the spectacular views.

Alternately, you have the option to enjoy some desert activities. Quadbikes and dune buggies are not for everyone, which is why we have this as an optional activity.
