Conservation Collection

At RAW Africa Eco-Tours, we believe in responsible tourism. So, wherever we go, we make sure we give something back. That means working in partnership with local community and conservation programs to ensure local communities thrive and develop and local wildlife is protected.

But if getting stuck in and making a difference is what really makes you tick, then our ‘Conservation Collection’ could be just what you’re after.

These tours go one step further by getting you involved at ground level.

In addition, many of our Conservation Collective safaris are our “Not for profit” tours, this means that we pay our conservation partners a daily rate for spending time on their projects or we donate profits from the tour to support their operations. So, it’s a win-win.

Head to Uganda to see the incredible work being done by the Jane Goodall Institute and discover more about their education programs, such as ‘Roots and Shoots’. Spend time in Kenya on one of our wildlife conservation safaris, support the efforts of frontline organisations in Tsavo National park and Samburu national Reserve as well as several community-run conservancies. See what it takes to protect the last of the Northern White rhino or rare mountain gorillas. Or if conservation is in your blood, then why not become a volunteer at Entebbe Zoo, working alongside the people and animals that make it so unique, knowing everything you do will make a difference.

These trips provide you with a deeper understanding of the institutes we work with, as well as delivering some unforgettable wildlife encounters.

So, if this sounds like you, take your pick and get in touch! We can’t wait to meet you.

CONSERVATION

Founded by long-term conservationist, Brooke Squires, we’re serious about supporting local communities and their conservation efforts. By joining us on one of our tours, you’ll be leading the conservation movement by:

By touring with RAW Africa, you’ll be supporting a conservation organisation relevant to the places we visit and people we meet.

By partnering with local guides, businesses and not-for-profits ahead of multi-nationals, 90% of the tour prices (average) goes back into the communities we visit.

Conservation comes in all shapes and sizes. Acting for Wildlife empowers you to make small but meaningful contributions to the conservation of the places you’ll visit.
