BROOKE SQUIRES

Founder and Director of RAW Africa Eco-Tours

From keeper to conservation leader, Brooke has devoted more than 25 years to wildlife. At Zoos Victoria she spent 23 years caring for African species and leading conservation programs in Kenya and the DRC. With a BSc in Zoology and a Masters in International Community Development, she now channels her expertise into creating safari journeys that protect wildlife and empower people and it’s time to take that expertise back home.

DR. JENNIE WILLIS

Associate Professor, Founder and Director of Behaviour Wild 

Dr. Jennie Willis is an applied animal behaviourist and Associate Professor at Colorado State University. She has worked with species from mice to ferrets, and cats to cattle, specialising in behaviour modification, enrichment, and welfare. Dr Jennie oversees the Professional Science Masters in Zoo, Aquarium & Animal Shelter Management at Colorado State University, annually takes students to Africa to learn from this incredible wild environment. Dr Jennie partners with zoos on applied behaviour research. With decades of teaching, consulting, and international speaking, Jennie equips keepers with the tools to improve animal training, welfare, and visitor engagement.

Brooke and Dr Jennie will be collaborating on exciting new Australian Safari offerings in 2027, where you will walk back in time to when marsupials and monitors ruled the world. The unique behaviour and adaptations of Australia’s fauna cannot be seen anywhere else on the planet.
